Local prospect Alexis "El Perro" Del Bosque (17-5, 9 KO's) from Dallas, Texas will be featured on the next Top Rank live/no fans event in Las Vegas on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
Lightweight Del Bosque tipped the scales today at 134.2 pounds against his opponent, Joseph Adorno (14-0-1, 12 KO's) who came in at 136 pounds for a schedule eight round fight.
Del Bosque, from Dallas, Texas, who trains out of his own gym, is coming into this fight by winning his last four fights, two in 2018 and two in 2019, the final one being in December of 2019.
Adorno has three big wins in 2019 and has collected two KO's in those matches, to add to his total of 12KO's.
Although some may consider Adorno to be the favorite, he will be given a great test by the very tough and hard hitting Del Bosque. Throughout his career, Del Bosque has entertained the fans here in Dallas, with boxing matches to remember with his non-stop action style, and it will be on display this Tuesday night.
Standing at six feet tall to the five foot, six inch Adorno, this is one advantage Del Bosque will have, and if he can keep Adorno at the end of his jab, he will be able to pull of the so-called upset.
Speaking of upsets, bantamweight, Joshua Greer Jr., (22-2-1), the WBO No. 1 and No. 2 IBF contender was dropped twice and defeated by Mike Plania (24-1, 12 KO's) last Tuesday on Top Rank's Tuesday Night Card, so anything is possible.
