Things had been cordial between David Benavidez (20-0, 17 KO's) and J'Leon Love (24-2, 13 KO's) but at the undercard on final Media Day, Benavidez had had enough.

When questions were asked and answered of the fighters, Benavidez got up and went toward J'Leon and the bantering with numerous expletives fro both were heard and the fighters had to be separated.

After what seemed forever, calm was eventually put in it's place by the promoters and others and all was resolved, at least for the moment, but it was obvious Benavidez had held back his anger and fists will determine the outcome.
And his message to his opponent was "I'm going to put you to sleep on fight night."
