After invading the hometown territory against the number one contender Alex Saucedo (28-1, 18 KO's) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker (25-0, 17 KO's) from Dallas, Texas, the reigning WBO Junior Welterweight champion makes his second defense against Mikkel LesPierre (21-0, 10 KO's.).
The championship fight will be held at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York and streamed live on DAZN.
This will be Mighty Mo's debut appearance on DAZN and Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing as the Co-Main Event of the WBA World Light Heavyweight fight between Dmitry Bivol (15-0, 11 KO's) against Joe Smith, Jr. (24-2, 20 KO's).
At a recent press conference to promote the fight, Mighty Mo said “I am ready to fight on March 9. I could fight tonight if I had to. I don’t care who I fight or when I fight. I like to fight. He is a good southpaw, he comes to fight and he is slick. It’s going to be a hell of a fight and I wish him and his team luck.” See Video Below:

The fact that I have this opportunity to make this change in my life, I am going to do whatever necessary to win.
