Jaime Munguia To Defend Junior Middleweight Title In Houston, Texas

After TKO'ing Sadam Ali (27-2) in May of 2018 for the WBO Super Welterweight title, Jaime Munguia (31-0, 26 KO's) has defended his title twice in two exciting fights since then.
He has bested top opponents since capturing his title, against Liam Smith (26-1-1) by unanimous decision and TKO'd Brandon Cook (20-1) three months ago in Las Vegas.
Munguia has devastating punching power in both hands as shown in his fight against Cook with vicious left hooks to the body and a left hook that dropped the Canadian.
On January 26, 2018, Munguia defends his title against Takeshi Inoue (13-0, 7 KO's) from Japan at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
The co-main event will be Jesus Rojas (26-2-2, 19 KOs) who defends his WBA Featherweight World Championship title against Chinese Xu Can (10-0, 1 KO) from China.
Also, local talent super lightweight Virgil Ortiz (11-0, 11KO's) from Dallas Texas is scheduled to fight Abraham Cordero (13-3, 7 KO's) from Mexico.
