Undercard Results And Photos On Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez v Jesse Hart 2 Card

Oscar Mojica (11-5-1) from Dallas and undefeated Ruben Vega (11-0-1) from Mexico fought to a draw in a six round bantamweight battle.

The undefeated Mikaela Mayer (9-0, 4 KOs) kept up the pressure on Calixta Salgado (17-11-3, 12 KOs) for the full eight rounds to continue her winning streak and went on to win by a unanimous decision. Mayer, a Top Rank fighter from Colorado Springs, put on a great showing in Corpus Christi, Texas and defended her NABF Female Super Featherweight Title.

Super lightweight contender Arnold Barboza Jr. (20-0, 7 KOs) from Long Beach California put a beating on the very tough Manuel Lopez (14-3-1, 7 KOs), but was not able to stop him as he wanted. Barboza landed lots of body punches throughout the fight and although it did make Lopez drop his hands, Barboza was not able to get the knockout. Barboza went on to win the ten round fight by a unanimous decision and called out WBC super lightweight champion Jose Ramirez after the fight

Southpaw Jamel Herring (19-2, 10 KOs) put Adeilson Dos Santos (19-6, 15 KOs) down to one knee in the first round and caught Dos Santos with a short right hand and he went down again. In an over matched fight, Herring went on to win a unanimous decision.

The first fight of the night was none other than Roberto Duran, Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs), the son of Hands Of Stone, Roberto Duran, which only lasted 55-seconds with a huge knockout over a very underrated Leonardo Pena (0-3).

Lightweight phenom Gabriel Flores Jr. (11-0, 5 KOs) from Stockton California landed a huge right hand in the first round that almost knocked Edward Kakembo (10-6) out of the ring. In what appeared to be a short night of work for Flores, Kakembo must be given credit for hanging in until the final bell in the sixth round.

Junior Bantamweights Jesus Arechiga (7-0, 6 KO's) and David Martino (6-6, 4 Ko's), both from Mexico, put on the best undercard fight of the night in the most evenly matched fight on the card.
