Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez Rumbles His Way To Defeat Hollywood Hart In Corpus Christi
The only thing that looked slightly close to Hollywood was Jesse Hart's fight robe as he entered the ring looking like Apollo Creed from the movie Rocky.
As for his performance, it was good but not good enough to get even close to taking Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez' (38-0, 25 KO's) WBO super middleweight belt from him in Corpus Christi tonight.
In front of a Ramirez filled stadium, Ramirez stalked Hart from the first round to the twelfth round.
Despite all the counter punching from Hart in this fight, Ramirez was landing the more effective and harder punches.
After the fight, Ramirez said "I won every round. I beat him clearly again," Ramirez said. "I hurt my elbow in the eighth round, but if I didn't hurt my elbow, I would've knocked him out. I am going to 175. I am ready to challenge Gvozdyk."
