VIDEO: Spence v. Ocampo Final Press Conference at The Star For Welterweight Hometown Defense


Errol Spence, Jr. (23-0, 20 KO's) answered all media questions regarding his upcoming title defense against undefeated contender Carlos Ocampo (22-0, 13 KO's) from Mexico.

Spence has respect for his opponent, but he has no doubt he will be victorious against Ocampo in front of his hometown fans.

The southpaw Spence also confirmed that he is willing to take on all top welterweights, including, Keith Thurman, and the new WBO welterweight champion champion Terence Crawford (33-0, 24 KO's).

The fight will be held on June 16, 2018 and will be televised by SHOWTIME, and presented by Premier Boxing Champions.

Also on the card is Danny Roman vs. Moises Flores, 12 rounds, for Roman's WBA junior featherweight title.

In addition to that, world title contender, Roberto Marroquin (27-4, 20 KO's) from Dallas, Texas, who has won his last two fights, is scheduled to go against Ricardo Nunez. Finally, Fernando Garcia from Dallas, Texas is also scheduled to fight on the card.

  • Yordenis Ugas vs. TBA, 8 rounds, welterweights
