Gennady Golovkin (49-1-2, 34 KOs), the WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO middleweight champion of the world tipped the scales at a perfect 160 pounds today and his opponent Martirosyan (36-3-1, 21 KOs) weighed in at 159.6 pounds.
Golovkin will be attempting to tie Bernard Hopkins record of 20 title defenses at the StubHub Center in Carson, California on HBO in a Mexican Style fight on Cinco De Mayo weekend.
