GGG Goes Against Vanes Martirosyan On Cinco De Mayo At The Stubhub Center

Cinco DeMayo, May 5th, 2018, Gennady Golovkin (49-1-2, 34 KOs), the WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO middleweight champion of the world will fight Vanes Martirosyan (36-3-1, 21 KOs), Mexican Style at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California.

The fight is promoted by GGG Promotions, in association with Don King Productions and will be telecast by HBO. Gennady Golovkin, the best middleweight on the planet, finally gets some redemption by getting an opponent to fight after all his hard training that won't be for nothing after his former opponent failed two (2), not one test for testing positive for the banned performance-enhancing substance clenbutrol.

GGG will be returning once again to the Stubhub Center where he knocked out Marco Antonio Rubio (59-6-1) in front of a sold out crowd. The Kazakhstan KO artist will be issuing punishment on Martirosyan, a clean fighter, who must be given credit for stepping up to the challenge.

The complete fight card is to be announced next week, but the undercard will include the return of former champion and pound for pound King, Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (46-2, 38 KOs).

Promoted by GGG promotions, in association with Don King Productions, and sponsored by Tecate, Chivas Regal, Jordan and Hublot, remaining tickets to the Golovkin vs. Martirosyan world championship event are priced at $750, $500, $300, $200, $100 (sold out) and $50 (sold out), and may be purchased online at https://www.axs.com/events/353331/golovkin-vs-martirosyan-tickets?ref=edp_twpost, by phone at (888) 9AXS-TIX, or by visiting the StubHub Center box office.
