Professional boxing is coming to Waco, Texas again, promoted by Arnie Verbeek and The Undercard, LLC, a boxing promotion company organized to promote young boxers training in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Leading out on the main event is Dallas' Manuel "The Punisher" Rojas (15-3, 4 KO's) who has won his last two fights in 2017, and is bringing a new style to his arsenal in the ring with trainer Vincent Parra. Parra is also the trainer for Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker (22-0-3, 16 KO's), the current WBO/NABO Super Lightweight champion from Dallas, Texas.
INTHERING.net caught up with lightweight Rojas at the Maple Avenue Boxing Gym in Dallas, Texas where he was putting in some sparring with title contender, Roberto Marroquin (26-4-1, 19 KO's). The veteran Marroquin, won the WBC/USNBC Super Featherweight title in 2015 and also fought against Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KO's), the current WBA/WBO Super Bantamweight Champion.
Rojas is in his final preparations for his upcoming fight against Jose Arturo Esquivel (10-6) of Chihuahua, Mexico, which will be held at the Waco Convention Center on Saturday, August 5, 2017.

Light heavyweight David Cordova (1-0) from Waco, Texas, Featherweight Carlos Adame, Jr. from Dallas, Texas (6-1), Welterweight Alexas Rosas, cruiserweight Gabriel Resendez, undefeated Featherweight Fernando Garcia (5-0) from Dallas, Texas, against Carlos Trevino from Austin. Texas, and middleweight Deandrew Lewis (1-0).
