Taking nothing from Quincy Taylor, the most well known world champion from Dallas, Texas was the great Curtis Cokes (62-14, 32 KO's), who held the WBC and WBA World Welterweight titles from 1966 to 1969 and defended them numerous times at the historical Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas.

The fight is on Showtime Saturday, April 22, 2017, 9:30PM ET Eastern Time/ 6:30PM PT Pacific Time, Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York.
