Samuel "Main Event" Clarkson and Dmitry Bivol Make Weight For Light Heavyweight Title Figh
Samuel the "Main Event" Clarkson (19-3, 12 KO's) from Cedar Hill, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, Texas made weight today as did Dmitry Bivol (9-0, 7 KO's) from Russia for the interim WBA World Light Heavyweight Title fight which will be held as the main event on ShoBox, Friday, April 14, 2017 at The Theater, MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
Clarkson came in at 173.4 pounds and Bivol tipped the scales at 174.6 in what will no doubt be a very exciting fight between these two light heavyweights.
Bivol steps into the ring undefeated and returns to the states after his last appearance in California on February of 2016, but the majority of his bouts have been in his homeland of Russia.
The dynamic Clarkson returns to the ring with a nine fight winning streak and his last fight ended with a TKO of his last opponent in Dallas, Texas. Clarkson makes his third appearance on Shobox and is very motivated to return to Texas with the light heavyweight title.
