Today on the debut of Golden Boy ESPN Boxing, Flyweight Bronze Medalist Marlen Esparza from Houston Texas makes her professional debut against Rachel Sazoff of Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
Marlen recently signed a multi-year contract with Golden Boy and is the first woman professional boxer signed by Golden Boy. She already has several endorsements with CoverGirl and has appeared in television ads for Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, to mention a few.
She is set to fight four rounds on the TV opener on the Golden Boy ESPN Boxing card at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California on Thursday, March 23, 2017 as part of the undercard of the Quigley v. Tapia title fight for the vacant NABA Middleweight championship.
ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes will broadcast the fights live from Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California starting at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.
