Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker (22-0-3, 16 KO's), the WBO/NABO Super Lightweight champion put on a boxing clinic in his return to the ring.
In his first fight in 2017, after the sudden cancellation of the Cotto/Kirkland fight where he was to appear, Hooker looked sharp and in shape as he used his entire arsenal against former IBF World Featherweight champion Cristobal Cruz (41-21-4, 25 KO's).
Although the former champion was game, as all Mexican fighters are, Hooker used his reach and the long jab to set up all his punches against the tough Cruz, including lots of good body work.
Hooker, who is signed with Roc Nation is expecting a great year in 2017 and eventually a title fight down the road.
