Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker v Darleys Perez

Rd 1 - With a full house in attendance, Hooker, the champion used his long reach as he jabbed at his opponent who attempted to land several wild right hands early on. Perez forced the action but Hooker continued to use his reach and landed his jab.
Rd 2 - Perez continued to force the action, but Hooker used the ring and his jab to keep Peres at bay. Hooker kept patience and continued boxing his opponent.
Rd 3 - Peres started out with a flurry of punches that were blocked by Hooker which got the crowd a little excited. Hooker been to move around the ring as he flicked his jab out to the veteran Perez. Peres landed a glancing right hand at the end of the round, but without any effect.
Rd 4 - Peres appeared to have landed a left hook and Hooker went down, but it was called a slip by the referee. Hooker stayed composed and continued to use his length as he jabbed away as Perez continued to move forward.
Rd 5 - In the halfway point of the match, Peres could not get inside as Hooker used his long jab to keep his opponent from coming in.
Rd 6 - In the sixth round, Peres was forcing the action as Hooker kept patient and continued to use the ring and throw his jab. Both fighters exchanged punches right before the bell and Hooker landed a short right hand to finish the round.
Rd 7 - Peres now began go turn the fight into a brawl by gesturing to Hooker to go toe-to-toe, but Hooker continued to box.
Rd 8 - As Perez missed a wild right and left hand, Hooker continued to fight a smart fight, moving, boxing, moving. Peres landed a glancing left hand at the bell, but it had no effect.
Rd 9 - Hooker started out landing a stiff left hook to the face of the crafty veteran. Peres came back later and landed a looping right hand without effect. Peres has a good round as he forced the action to the end of the round.
Rd 10 - Hooker land a nice right hand right after the bell sounds to the delight of the crowd. Hooker now fires the action as Perez moved backward. They now exchange a few punches in the middle of the ring as the action continues. In what appeared to be a clear decision for Hooker, the fight came down to the cards and the fight ended up as a draw. The cards read 97-93, 97-93, 95-95
