"MIGHTY MO" HOOKER FACES OFF AT FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE FOR FIGHT AGAINST MIKELL LESPIERRE


Maurice "Mighty Mo" Hooker (25-0, 17 KO's), the reigning WBO Junior Welterweight champion from Dallas, Texas took the stage at the final press conference before his fight this Saturday at the Turning Stone Resort in New York and his first appearance on DAZN to defend his title against contender Mikkel LesPierre (21-0, 10 KO's).

This will be the second defense of his title after stopping Alex Saucedo (28-1, 18 KO's) in his hometown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after coming back after a flash knockdown in the second round.

Hooker is used to going to other fighters hometown's or countries and now he is going to New York, the residence of his next opponent Mikkell Les Pierre (21-0, 10 KO's).

At the press conference, "Mighty Mo" said, “Saturday is going to be a good night. I’m looking for the knockout and I know you are looking for the knockout, but I’M GONNA GET THE KNOCKOUT! and put on a great show. I took the hard way and I’m not giving up yet, this is just the beginning.”

At the press conference, Arnie Verbeek, Mighty Mo" Hooker's manager from the Maple Avenue Boxing Gym in Dallas, Texas was given recognition for his guidance and outstanding work with the champion.

Mighty Mo is trained by veteran trainer Vincent Parra and puts in some mitt work with the champion. See Video below:
